The first Saints Row game was released in August of 2006 exclusively for the Xbox 360, 2 was released in October of 2008 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a PC release following in January of 2009, therefore making Saints Row 2 the first multiplatform game in the franchise. Come to think of it, that was 13 years ago. The series has been around for almost 10 years, from 2006 to 2015. It was a game series developed by Volition and published by THQ (later Deep Silver), the same people who made the Red Faction series, and have a similar gameplay to Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto series. Saints Row, now that's a name we haven't heard from in a while.
